While we got the RV ready, the girls helped keep Alton occupied, and Jason helped fill water jugs.
We left Tannehill State Park to start the journey to a friend’s church in Sharspburg, GA. We went to the gas station first to fill up and put the van on to the dolly. We had to wait a LONG time to be able to pull up to fill the RV because someone decided to have a family reunion at the gas pump. These situations are good reminders that when we are in the van and not the RV to be as considerate as possible when out in the public world.
On our way into Georgia, we listened to all the Georgia related songs we could find. . .”Georgia,” “Devil Went Down to Georgia,” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.” Melinda has been trying to get pictures of all the state line signs but missed the Georgia one, so here is a friendly reminder to buckle your seatbelt.
We were able to park our RV by the football field at Trinity Fellowship Church. The kids loved having a football field as our front yard.
Until he found a “not toy.”
On Sunday morning, we attended church in StudioK where our friend, John Steinklauber, is the children’s pastor. We were able to share with the kids about our ministry and help out wherever we could in the service. Alivia helped take up the BGMC offering.
We love being a part of church services and having the opportunity to share about what we do!
Where we stayed is a “golf cart community.” There are golf cart driving paths, and you can see just as many parked golf carts as regular cars! It was an interesting sight.
